so yesterday i got home and decided it was time to stop procrastinating and do some laundry. i hate doing laundry and so i usually keep from doing it as much as possible (about 3 weeks is my max), so by the time i have to do it i have to do at least 3 loads. this sucks because usually it involves a lot of going back and forth between my apartment and the laundry room in the basement. but such is the nature of doing laundry in apartment buildings.
anywho, yesterday i go down to the laundry room with all my dirty clothes and the detergent. i know i'll be doing three loads. and lo and behold, all three washing machines in the laundry room were empty and free and completely at my disposal. at this point, i'm ecstatic.
so i load up the first machine and come to the conclusion that the best thing to do is to get it running immediately before moving on to the next one. that way if someone comes in while i'm loading the second one, that person won't know that i'm trying to take over all the machines at once.
execution of the plan proceeds unflawed. no one showed up. i got all three machines running, and my dirty clothes transportation devise is empty.
success.
so i take note of the time, take the elevator up to my apartment and chillax for about 20 minutes. later, i'm back in the laundry room the moment the first washing machine has stopped, and at this point i'm ready to begin the transfer of my clothes from the three washing machines to the three drying machines.
transfer of clothes from machine one is executed without any problems.
transfer of clothes from machine two, however, not so much.
i opened the lid on the second washing machine only to discover that it was filled with water, my dirty clothes floating around, amid a timid amount of suds, in freezing water.
i, needless to say, was a bit flummoxed at the situation.
after coming back to my senses, i realize that the sensible thing to do would be

I'm disappointed that I took the time to read all of that. I almost didn't, but then saw Reid's response and figured it would be good. Now I just feel like I've been had.

It's like those cute animal videos your parents forward to a hundred people. You know you should move on but for some reason you watch it. Then you get even more pissed off at them for sending you that shit.

whats the deal with forum signatures? its not like people are putting their john hancock on their posts. Does anyone really believe that someone's signature looks like a Patrick Bateman quote?
