Pre-ordered it. It's amazing. Pretty different from previous albums, at times. Quite accessible, a bit less chanting. Some pretty fuzzed out parts. Great guitar parts. A few more slow songs. Riff on So it Goes is another moment like the River guitar bit.

fantastic record.

took me a few listens to get into it vs. the last one was immediate with me. i don't think it's THAT different from past records on the whole though.

can't wait to see them again in a few weeks, they didn't tour the last record here so it's been way too long since i've seen them :(

They lived on the side of a volcano or some shit to record the album lol. Set em Wild was a seriously good album too. Everyone is Guilty nails it immediately.

that's the theory, since they were labeled X/6, but so far only 3 of 6 have been found

That riff from So it goes really stood out in the mix i downloaded. I was praying it would be clear on the record and it was lol. So happy.

I liked the 'fake' leaks a lot more than the actual record.

bah, those were rather lame and cut/pasted together in like 45 minutes tops.

you realize how easy noise/ambient stuff like that is to make yourself right?

What the hell does how easy or how much time it takes to make some music have to do with one's enjoyment of said music?

it doesn't, but i've noticed in regards to this album on other forums some people seem to think just because those albums aren't typical song structures and are "more challenging", that they somehow put MORE effort or thought into making those.

not saying that's the case here, but i've def noticed it on 2 other forums i'm on and it bugs me.

i just think people are being a bit unfair with regards to the actual music on this record because they had it in their mind this was gonna be some giant noise-freak out FUCK YOU type record based on the early fake/official leaks.

pretty sure most reviews of this record will be rather positive (at least moreso than the last one anyway) though.

I've been totally out of the loop, didn't even realize they had a new one out, but I was listening to ST today (which is still just fucking awesome) and googled them. Downloading now.
