Nice to see the Wood Bros. #21 in Victory Lane again.
And one more thing, GET THAT BOY A FULLTIME RIDE for this season.
(waits for J38ryan to post in this thread now)
I'm still in shock. I've worked on the Quick Lane team for Ford for about 7 years and am heavily involved in our Motorsports sponsorships. Some of you know that NHRA drive Bob Tasca III is one of my close friends. I really don't know Trevor all that well but the people at Ford LOVE him. He proved them right today.
The decision not to run the full season was made by the Wood Brothers, not us.
Still can't believe he pulled that off. What a great win.
Get on Twitter bitches (j88ryan)

THE FREAKING WOOD BROTHERS!!! No shit. It's like it's the 1980's again for a few seconds.
Unbelievable. Reminded me of Ricky Rudd.
I was hoping for a good race at the end to make it good after all those cautions... but wow, for that kid to win in THAT car... it's a pretty special day.

I'm still in Shock. The Wood Brothers have had a great Plate car for a number of years, but I truly believe they had the best car in the field yesterday.

I was there. It was fucking awesome. How was the two car tango on TV?
It was terrific when there was any kind of run. To me there was a lot more actual racing than normal. If there had been a few less accidents, especially that big one at lap 30 I think it could have been better. Fox ran so many commercials because of the cautions it let a lot of the momentum out of it. The end though... I wish they could have run the last 20 clean, because that was exciting.
Yeah, I was really bummed when the big one happened so early in the race. I don't mind the big wreck, but I'd just assume see it happen as everyone crosses the finish line.
During the first 30 laps you still had the big pack. The RCR drivers were saying that beyond the first 8-10 cars that they couldn't pair up due to turbulence. So you still had the big pack, with the elite guys checking out. I really liked that dynamic of the race. Once the big one happened it was ALLLLLLL pairs racing and people just looking to make it to the end.
Still, there was always 10 cars or so battling up front, and it was awesome. It's the third Daytona race I've been to and it was by far the best when it comes to racing. While everyone seemed to cycle forward and back, there were clearly dominate cars out there.
I just figured that the race would be like Martinsville. Awesome in person, but not translating to TV.
I've already got my tickets to the 400, and I think I'm gonna scoot down to Talladega if the weather is a guarantee. I loved the racing.
