I don't sit around playing PJ stuff really, but I often like noodling with Ed's intro riff to MFC just because it's fun to play. I don't know why, it's just one of those things I naturally fall into when I pick up a guitar.

I'm a pretty shit guitarist and muck around with it solely for my own pleasure. I do get an inordinate amount of joy at making my guitar sound sometimes at least a bit like the song I'm trying to play does.
The opening riff of 'Betterman' is fun in that way, as are the straightforward 'Not For You' and 'Porch' riffs. 'Corduroy' is fun too.

I used to know 85% of everything prior to Binaural, then I stopped analyzing what they were doing on their instruments and concentrated on writing and recording my own ideas. I learned how to play guitar because of PJ, and then bass, drums, and now keys. This band helped open up my imagination and creativity. I'm really happy to have had this music around in my early adolescence.

But you're a sexy-ass bitch on a trampoline. Or jumpoline, as I like to call them.

And why doesn't this dude come 'round to hang with us no more? I thought he was really cool.
Oh wait...that's probably why. Or why not.

I played Mike McCready's part on Alive for my High School talent show in 1992 and we won...I wish I had played more often though because starting 25 years ago I should be amazing instead once I got a job and was no longer in a band I now play like someone who's only been playing for 5 years tops I did play PJ a lot in the early days though and later liked picking up my Strat (the guitar not the RM fanboy j/k Strat) to play long road and I got shit every now and again... oh and of course RITFW since its such an easy yet powerful PJ related song...

I got married and had kids. There's a handful I know from Binaural, but I never have had the time to just sit and learn all of them like I did the earlier, pre-married-with-kids, phase.
Favorite(s) on guitar: I Got Shit/ Insignificance/ Corduroy/ Sad

I can barely play guitar, but I figured out Hail Hail. It's a really fun song to play, with it's chord progression n'all. Corduroy, and Who You Are are fun too.
