this sordid lenny saga leaves me confused as to whether a goodbye thread is in order or whether one should disappear into the ether like balki and i need some answers in this time of uncertainty and upheaval

also don't worry punkdavid unintentional goodbye threads don't count

if one drafts and posts a goodbye thread, they will inevitably return in short time because that very goodbye thread, in and of itself, is indicative of that individual's still present craving of attention that only an internet message board can so easily provide.

what about an announcement that one is done with the internet, ala "20000 is a nice number so bye" buried deep within an obscure thread
