I'm slightly irritated by people that say there is no god. (Since there's no proof a god doesn't exist) - It's surely a pretty big statement to make. However, I lean more towards empathy for those that believe in a god. So does that make me agnostic or confused, or some form of agnosticism, or what?

True story; I ate a sub for the first time today! We shared a 'foot long'? between the four of us. It was just ham and cheese but still better than any of the other fast food chains arond here. Value for money, chud!

It's not stupid! Obviously other people think the same way! The bible is just early politics to me, it's not proof of a god at all.

Jorge's right. The burden of proof is on the person making the claim of the existence of something specific, not someone defaulting to skepticism.

For me, it's not so much about skepticism, it's a belief that individuals believe in what they believe, yet an almighty god hasn't been proven or disproven, so i keep an open mind. It's people that factually state that because there is no proof of god, it doesn't exist.

And also, if there is a god, it doesn't please them!

There's far too much in the universe for it all to be an accident. There's intelligent design in there I think. But Agnostics are the guys that hedge their bets.
The hottest place in hell is reserved for the guy who sits on the fence.

i'm more of a deist i guess. i think the odds favor a god existing, but people's definition of what an all knowing omnipotent being would truly be never ceases to dissappoint me. and our ability to even comprehend such a being would be impossible.

I was a true agnostic for many years.

Now I'm an atheist. And, frankly, I sleep better. And I have better sex. And I've lost weight. I'm not sure if any of those things are connected to my faith (or lack thereof), I'm just saying.
