I am a big fan. I've seen him live twice. I had a chance to meet him before one of the shows, really nice, humble guy. He doesn't tour too often, but when he does, it's worth checking him out. It's just him and a drummer, the humor is offbeat, as is the dancing...but it's a great, fun time.
"I, Jonathan" is my favorite album. I like most of his records, "Not so much to be loved..." didn't impress me all that much, but it's good. I also dig the Modern Lovers stuff.
Glad to see another fan from the board. I've been listening to "Back in Your Life," this afternoon. I don't know if I can afford to go to all of the shows. I'll probably just see two.
I don't think I'd even want to go to ALL of this shows. The last time I saw him, he played his new album "Not So Much to be loved..." pretty much in its entirety. I enjoyed the show, but was a little disappointed since he has such a large catalog of great stuff. The show was light years better (for "Her Mystery Not.."), he mixed it up.
Since his latest record is all non-English, I am not dying to see him on this little tour. The closest shows are Baltimore or NYC.

enjoy, broham. have you seen him live before?
i saw him play a small show in nashville. he had the audience in the palm of his hand. he played a lot of older stuff and did a lot of guitar noodling and goofy dancing. infectiously joyous.
