TB2K sucks balls. LATG, LATS, and IIC are all better. I'm thinking of selling my copy ot TB2K.

TB2K captures Pearl Jam at its absolute best. Their best songs, and arguably their best era as a band. They had yet to go too far down that corporate road, but just seemed generally optimistic in a lot of ways. This era seemed like the most fun they had as Pearl Jam.

I even prefer the Live at Chop Suey promo to TB2K.

It could be that I didn't see them in 2000. I was pretty unimpressed with Binaural. When my friends asked me to see them in Columbus, I kinda blew it off.

I don't know that there is a Pearl Jam segment i have ever enjoyed watching more than the "outtake" moments set to Down.

You're an idiot.
Pearl Jam's making a weak album doesn't make me stupid.

Not sure I'd say pj were real "fun" on this tour. They were awesome as hell but it seemed like they were trying to turn the negative specter of roskilde into a positive connection with their fans, moreso than actually having a fun time like they have recently.

Yeah fun really isn't the right word. This is when Pearl Jam took themselves very seriously. As they should.
Just cause its a funeral, doesn't mean you aren't having fun seeing your aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Well yeah. But "fun" Pearl Jam is YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH!
No, thats forced. Thats what i like about this era, and TB2K.. it seems like they are genuinely enjoying performing their songs, being a band, and being around their fans. Maybe thats in response to the tragedy, but either way, i think it really shows on this DVD.

It's certainly the best balance. The most fun they're having without compromising the music. It's a lot more fun than the 1998 shows. I feel though that as the decade moved on, the more fun they were having means the more they were plowing through the songs and ruining the dynamic of Given To Fly.
