tmobile now has an automated call back that rings your number when they're ready to talk to you instead of making you wait- which isn't a bad idea, but almost as annoying somehow...

That actually sounds pretty cool. But, you're prolly right. 40/60 they call back when I can't talk.

I went to order a fish fry on Friday at our local VFW and they set the phone down because they were so busy. I waited 20 minutes until I overheard the woman say to the other girl "watch the phones, I'm going to the bathroom." They forgot they had me on hold, so I hung up cuz I had to run to the post office before it closed. Call from my cellphone at the post office and get through, they set the phone down again and 10 minutes later I get to talk to them. I finally order 45 minutes after the first call. Hour and a half wait for my food. :|

I was on hold with Sallie Mae once a few months ago after they fucked up in how they applied my payments. I was getting really frustrated with the unhelpfullness and the person I was talking to me had a girls name but sounded like a dude. My mom was right there to find out how I was making out and asked who I was talking to over there. I said "some dude named jill (or whatever the name was)" and immediately they took me off hold and asked if I said something. I was like "no I was talking to someone else".

I called the temp agency yesterday about an upcoming job and I was immediately put on hold. terrible feeling. no 'Hello' or anything, just "hold please." yuk
but then I was immediately connected to a person who was very friendly, so the being put on hold was completely unnecessary. nice feeling.

every time ruddo says my name, he uses some sort of negative emoticon. check it out: http://forums.theskyiscrape.com/search.php?keywords=argo+argonaut+asher&terms=any&author=E.H.+Ruddock&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search
