I know there aren't many Green Day fans on this board. And I am not a fan of their new stuff, but this live disc has some older songs on it that make it worth checking out...

when I saw them on Pop Disaster with blink182 they were inserting one really old song into their sets. A friend in CA got Disappearing Boy. I couldn't believe it when I got GTP.

i saw them back in 95 i think, on the insomniac tour, and they were playing going to Pasalacqua, 16, and paper lanterns every night, though they had a lot less material back them, they are definitely some of their best songs. tre also switched with billy and he played all by my self and dominated love slave, it was a great show.

Good thing they lost that album they were working on and wrote American Idiot. Cigarettes and Valentines is a terrible song. I wonder why the DVD isn't a complete show. No Jesus of Suburbia or When It's Time.

The dvd portion sucks. It's under lit and not nearly as good as Bullet In a Bible.
It's nice to hear the old stuff but the bands too concise for my tastes. On the old songs I wish they'd just play as a trio and not a six piece band. Billie's Joe voice has held up well over time.
I wonder who's going to be remembered for having a bigger musical influence, Pearl Jam or Green Day. PJ had that huge start but Green Day had the career revival getting two generations of listeners.

influence? green day w/o a doubt. i would bet most of the emo/pop-punk bands of the 00s would credit dookie more than ten
