Shiny Happy People (Out of Time)

The video came on this morning when I was on the treadmill and 20 years later I'm still annoyed. I'm sure there are tons but I'm curious to hear what you guys think.

I agree. I find this song a mite irksome.

"Near Wild Heaven" on the other hand...

Electioneering - OK Computer

I always felt this wasn't up to the standard of the rest of the album and would have fit better on The Bends.

I always thought "Lovesong" was pretty out of place in Disintegration.

Shiny Happy People and Electioneering both belong on their albums.

"They're Red Hot" on Blood Sugar Sex Magik. I do like it, especially how it was recorded outside with the traffic in the background, but Sir Psycho Sexy should have been the closer on this album. The outro on that song is killer.

Speaking of B-sides, Soul to Squeeze should have been on this record. I would have taken Naked in the Rain out.

Sleight of Hand.

Definitely should have been a B-Side. Maybe even a C or D side if there were such a thing. Ridiculously Average.

Yeah, Binaural clearly isn't an otherwise great album.

I'm really, really not. It's dull, unimaginative and I shudder to think that they genuinely thought it was a good idea to stick that aural monstrosity on Binaural instead of Fatal or Sad.

I love "Fatal" and "Sad" but I think "Sleight of Hand" is in a whole other level-- it's Pearl Jam stepping away from 4/4 rawk and creating a beautiful, fragile, atmospheric piece that slips into an almost-shoegaze, heavily distorted chorus. It's a great, great song.
