OK this is kind of a stupid post but it allows me to make fun of WV, so I'm in:
On Nintendo Wii they have the "Everybody Votes Channel" where people from around the world answer simple multiple choice questions.
A recent question: "Do you know anyone who still uses dial-up internet service."
Over 2/3 of people who voted said no. But you can see the state-by-state results on a map of the U.S. and 49 states were green, indicating that the majority of people do NOT know people still using dial-up. WV was the only pink state, indicating the majority of people do know dial-up users.
I got really depressed about my experience in West Virginia the last few days. Tons of abandoned homes. Terrible poverty. Burned down meth labs EVERYWHERE.
