If anyone is looking for a good resource to do the mid-round picks (since a lot of those guys are sort of unknown) CBS has a great draft website that ranks guys by position and does detailed profiles on many players. I used it last year and drafted pretty realistically for the most part.

Whoops, thanks.
Also, for those who still need to pick a team, try to avoid picking the Panthers or Raiders, as if we're going to be short on players, we'll at least leave the ones that don't have that many picks for the community.

OK< I made some executive decisions here to get this ball rolling: --The Panthers and Raiders will be the community teams. We can start discussing who we want the Panthers to pick right now, in fact. --Kris has agreed to play, and I've given him the Pats and Titans --Because Self Polluted might not be around that much, I moved him to the Jets, since they don't have a second round pick and the Pats have a ton of picks to deal with. --If dk doesn't want the Bengals, I'll give them to SP, and we might have their fourth overall pick be a community pick. --Jason received the Jaguars --Chris received the Seahawks
If anyone has any problem with this, please feel free to speak up and we can make changes.

i have a feeling that in real life, the panthers are gonna pick at QB, but dont know if it will be Gabbert or Newton. i dont think either is worthy of the #1 overall pick, but i think that is what they want with their 1st rounder, so unless they can trade down i have a feeling they will take a QB with the 1st pick.
in this, if i was picking for them, i would probably just go with Fairley, or take the best player in the draft even though he is a CB and go with Peterson.

The Panthers could go a number of ways here. They need everything.
The question is, do they want another QB and if so whom? Whom will that QB throw to?
They also need a DT and DE that can play immediately and it wouldn't hurt them to get the best player in the draft who could be Patrick Peterson either.
It would be an odd look at the #1 spot but they couldn't score points last year while fielding a decent defense. Considering Andrew Luck skipped this draft would it be all that crazy to take South Carolina native AJ Green?
Despite the lying to the contrary.... Green has the ability to be a game changer....the same ability Steve Smith had a few years ago. They desperately need a guy to come in and help them score points and stretch the field so they can run the ball. When you look at the division.... clearly the secondaries are the weakest part of most of the competition. Green is that player. What say you?

he could possible give Claussen a chance to do well. like you said, they need everything, so unless they can trade out of that spot to get more picks and still get one of the MANY 1st round options they can use, then Green is just as big of a need for them as just about everyone projected to go in the top 10.
how do we make a decision on a team like this LOL

I think the Panthers absolutely need a QB. I have little, if any, faith in Clausen succeeding at the next level. I'd also favor Gabbert and Locker over Newton.
