i recently finished the first season of Party Down. the show, developed by Paul Rudd and a few others, focuses on a catering business in Los Angeles full of wannabe actors and writers. it stars Adam Scott, Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, Martin Starr, and a host of other great comedic actors. good guests, too, including J.K. Simmons, Ken Jeong, and Kristen Bell. it's a great ensemble comedy with an unusually poignant tone.

Yup, it was a good one. The lead took the role on Parks and Rec and now this one is over. Martin Starr was probably the funniest.

I love this show. I've never seen a whole season all the way through, but its really good. Sucks they canceled it.

They're floating the idea of a movie. I dunno if its being written or they're still getting everyone on board, but this could happen in the next year or two.
