Didnt see a thread for this so...
I caught the pilot because I was a fan of Jason Clarke in Brotherhood. The pilot was awful and I didnt have much hope for it, but the last two episodes have been a lot better and I'm starting to dig this one.

It caught my eye as Shawn Ryan's got his hands in it. Pretty good so far. Good cops, bad cops, corrupt politician, gang bangers, all the necessary ingredients. I'll keep watchin.
Odd that they chose Tim Roth's Lie To Me wife to put in a series right after she's been seen on another Fox hit.

I started watching The Shield all the way through about a month ago, I'm finishing season 3 now, these shows are pretty similar if you compare the first seasons. We'll see if Chicago Code gets progressively darker like The Shield did.

I don't think it will. Mackey was the villain from the start, we just cheered him on. This bunch seems to want to do good for the city, just in sneaky ways.

Well the darkness wasnt all Vic. The whole Aceveda rape thing, Shane's downfall(though that was related to Mackey,) Julien's struggle with being gay, etc.

This got canned? I thought it was pretty good and had potential. I havent seen the last 4 or so because of the Bruins playoff run but I planned on catching up.

Ok, I live in Chicago. No alderman has that much clout, nor their ward contain Lincoln Park, Chinatown & Cabrini Green. This is The Wire light. While I like the two main characters and Beals, the show sort of didn't have that "hey, we can go a couple of seasons" aspect.
It should have been pronounced WHY-socki, not Wi-socki.
Everything was under the el tracks. Wtf? I live next to the el tracks, and I'm never under em.
It had potential, but i found myself just fast forwarding tonights episode, kinda like my fast forwarding through hawaii 5-0.

I was the exact opposite last night. That whole ending scene was great and the tension when Liam was supposed to off those two was great. For a show in it's first season, it's kept things lively with this corruption angle. I really hope someone else picks it up.

Another network picking up a show rarely happens, it's unfortunate but this show is likely done. I was going to catch up on the episodes I've missed but with it cancelled now I dont see much point putting the time in.

well, they wrapped things up nicely. Great ending to a show that really didn't get a fair shake.
I enjoyed it. Somebody from the Russian mob, or any of the other mobs he was selling the info to must have killed his brother. The police chief is a slut. I didn't see that coming. I thought I was watching some different show.
