i've seen the DKMs perform twice live and both times were great, but i have to admit that watching them perform in Roxbury, MA, as a four piece was much better than the full ensemble they have now.
do you like old school DKM better than their newer material?

I love Sing Loud Sing Proud, great album. They've kind of gone slowly downhill since, not a really bad falloff, but they haven't gotten back to where they were on that album.
i used to like them a lot but for some reason i cant get into them.. i dunno if its because theyve been basically putting out the same song over n over and i got sick of em.. or because everyone and their mother seems to be a huge fan anymore since shipping up to boston..
saw them live a couple times, good stuff
who the hell are these street dogs and what albums by them do you recommend??

i have two of the STREET DOGS CDs and i highly recommend checking them out. the lead vocalist was the singer on the first DKM CD "do or die"
if you want to listen to some cool Al Barr (DKM frontman) material check out the BRUISERS on YOUTUBE - some good grinding music
as for the DKMs i like their latest CD "going out in style: - with songs like CRUEL, TAKE'EM DOWN and PEG O' MY HEART. moreover, i like it a lot better than "warrior's code," which i thought was a step down from "blackout"

i only have two of the STREET DOGS CDs, their very first and their latest, which i love, equally - some of my favorite tracks are from more those particular CDs, which i have in my collection: yesterday, savin hill, and formation/rattle and roll...
sorry, i don't have more tracks to help you with, but i do like "tobe's got a drinking problem" and "two angry kids" by the STREET DOGS - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfK8wngG0MQ

I have this fear that one day I will wake up and go through my normal routine. Coitus, work, lunch, home, and then hit the bar. After a beer, I will get up and slide a few dollars into the jukebox. I go to select something like, oh I don't know, Homegrown but find nothing but Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly and Poison records. I'll just keep seeing page after page of these suck-ass, whitebread bands and then it will hit me. I am in hell.

I didn't like or dislike this band but a friend of mine who is "Mr Irishman" talks about them like they are so great because he heard that fucking song in the Departed. So now they annoy me.

some of the things they (mainly bassist and founder Ken Casey) do make me want to cringe like appearing on the Dennis and Callahan show and not Toucher and Rich to announce their two Fenway Park shows

I liked them a lot better before that song made them blow up a little, though The Meanest Of Times was a decent album.
