As a Bills fan, I just hope whoever they pick doesn't suck. This franchise cannot afford to miss on (another) first round pick. Especially #3 overall.
I think it's too early to dismiss CJ...he showed flashes last year, and if y'all get a great line in place, he can be a real playmaker for the Bills.
Definitely not dismissing CJ yet, but the recent history is not good (Erik Flowers, Mike Williams, JP Losman, John McCargo, Aaron Maybin). McGahee and Lynch were misses in the long run as well.
They need to draft a stud @ #3 overall. Not a "good player." A stud. This organization needs help, and it needs talent. This is where they are going to get it, and they absolutely cannot miss.
Some of the "experts" have y'all getting Marcell Dareus....He seems like he'd be that stud kind of player you're looking for.
some of the experts also have them taking Peterson. i know the talent, i just don't like the pick. this team, more than anything, needs a DE if he's there or a hybrid LB to help out.....to create a pass rush.
oh my, it hurts to be a Bills fan.
Da'Quan Bowers should be available at #3. Sounds like his knee is a big concern, but this guy is huge...At 6'4" / 280lbs, he's quick, and damn strong. If his knee wasn't a concern, he would probably be a top 5 pick tonight.

Lynch was far from a miss IMO. For whatever reason they felt the hardest working running back wasn't worth keeping around because of personal issues. Seattle has their RB situation solidified for the foreseeable future because of Lynch. Fred Jackson made him expendable, even though Lynch will be playing long after Fred. Lee Evans sure was a hit at least. Add Donte Whitner to that list of busts, though.
Lee Evans would have had one hell of a career if he ever had a good QB. The guys is talneted as hell, and definitely NOT a miss. The QB play really hurt him.
What has Lynch really done aside from his first two seasons? He has looked pretty mediocre since then. That is not what I am looking for in a Top 12 pick.

This would be my ideal pick for them. Here's hoping!
So who screws the pooch the hardest tonight? Hard to see how it will be anyone other than Cincinnati or Washington.
oakland's always in the running.
They don't have a first-rounder this year, hermano.
indeed, but it doesn't matter. i suppose the current CBA issues might impede an ill-advised al davis trade to get back into the first round though.
Not trying to troll 4/5, but the Dolphins are also a possibility.
Oh Miami was the first team that came to my mind. Please god don't let Ireland mortgage our future and trade up. PLEASE.

the 54" mark of this video shows the pats big board for this year's QBs. It looks like someone is above Locker, so i assume that's gabbert. from what i could actually see, it looked like this (w/ ratings):

No shit. It's not like that pick took any work to actually make. It would have been nice if they noticed on tape that Miller played a weird position in college that isn't going to work in the pros....
