Hey all, I rarely post on here so I am wondering, what are some of the main differences between the two. I post over there fairly frequently.

Later,
David

Not far from the truth. I haven't posted at the pit for about 5 years, but I've checked in on it a few times recently. It seems people are a lot more vocal about their criticisms here, but that isn't to say that the posts/posters aren't well thought out or articulate.

This place is a lot more organised. There's a good chat index at the top so there aren't 100 different threads for discussions about each album/song.

For better or worse there's a tighter community feel here.

It's not so much that we are more vocal with our criticisms, it's that we are allowed to be vocal with our criticisms here.

Yeah.
In hindsight though, thats where the Sex On Legs lock makes a lot less sense in the context of RM.

I have never posted there. I could have before I discovered RM, but I found it to be such a clusterfuck there that there wasnt any point.

I would have joined this place a lot earlier than 2006 if what I saw at synergy hadn't painted my opinion of what message boards are like.

There are less nerds on this forum. But it is, still, you know, the internet, so there's that...
