Anyone else like Local H? I actually found them a while back because they have a song called "Eddie Vedder", which came up as a Youtube related search, and I looked more into them... very impressive. They have kinda like a punk/post grunge sound to them, and considering they're just a 2-man band... they're pretty damn good.

If you haven't heard of them

if you mean the hitler thing, i have no idea. i don't get it either. by your post count, i noticed you're pretty new. this board has been around for a long time and there are probably threads on every band you know. if there is even a slight pj connection, there are probably multiple threads on that band already. one thing to do is use the search engine in the upper right corner. type in the band name, topic titles only, and other bands.

anyway, a few of us around here really love local h. imo, their best album is pack up the cats. if you get a chance to see them live, do it. they sound a lot fuller than they should. scott lucas is a complete douche bag though.

I did do a search, I got like 10 pages of results because it omitted the "H" and just searched "local" :haha:

Thanks for essplainin'. This place is confusing sometimes haha. And they did a show here in Brooklyn recently, but it was in a 21+ bar :? Really wanted to go, but oh well.

They're working on a new album, hopefully out this fall. Here's a taste:
http://soundcloud.com/triple-fast-action-man/cold-manor-demo

I think Here Comes The Zoo, Whatever Happened to PJ Soles?, and 12 Angry Months are all killer albums.

Scott isn't a douche, he can be a little rude or cold to people sometimes, but for the most part he's been perfectly friendly when I've talked to him.

and fuck New York too.

I've probably seen Local H about 50 times (no exaggeration), everything from small bars to opening for STP back in 1996. I also hit 4 of the 7 Beat Kitchen shows a couple years ago. great band. I really liked 12AM, but the last album that was great throughout was definitely Pack Up the Cats.

these guys are on the Live Music Archive as well and a lot of our tapes are on there.
