saw him earlier this year and it was 2 hours of just pure songwriting genius & humor

Someone needs to give me a rundown on some songs to listen to from the guy, because his movie soundtrack work has always annoyed the hell out of me. And that comes down to my own ignorance and having first noticed him in the original Toy Story and being distracted from the film in how put off I was by the song. And since then I have heard him a dozen or more times typically in film soundtracks, and felt the same exact way. I love his voice, but I have yet to hear a song from him that resonated at all with me.
