star malcolm mcdowell was on with joy behar last night and pushed the envelope in the interview to say the least, but was funny in a charismatic way. mcdowell discussed among other things the 40th anniversary of the release of the Stanley Kubrick classic film.

any thoughts on where this film ranks in the list of great films?

by the way, for your information i listened to the soundtrack last night - for A Clockwork Orange - and was surprised by the way in which it put me in a trance, especially Suicide Scherzo (Ninth Symphony, Second Movement, Abridged).

It's a shame no one posted in this thread yet! This is not a pity post though, it's a post to express my love for this film.
I've only seen it once and it has been a few years but it definitely left an impression and I need to watch it again some time.

Great movie. Great soundtrack.

I bought the Kubrick DVD box set just a little while back but it looks as if I'll be upgrading some of them.
