Anyone else pick this up? Another gem by the people at Bioware, makers of the Baldur's Gate series.

is it good on the 360. Any reviews i've seen look to be swaying towards the PC version being great and the console ports being ok

It does not look good on the 360 at all. But it's looking good on my PC. Great game so far. Very bloody and intense.

Just had a duel in the back alley of a large town. A Knight challenged me. He thought I killed the king or something and he didn't want to fight in a public area. Anyway, the duel didn't last long. I sliced his head clean off. Blood was going everywhere. Very cool.

couple of hours in, its not bad, 360 port is woefully bad in the gfx front but the story seems ok for now

Bought this for 35 bucks on black friday at walmart.

I just beat this today, 42 hours later! What an epic story, all I could think during this entire play through was that I want to go have a LOTR marathon or something.

Anyway, excellent game. I expected it to be easy like the Bioware "Sci fi" titles like the KOTOR games and Mass Effect, but going into battle without some sort of plan quickly kicked me in the ass.

I got the best ending I could get I think...got the love i wanted, and other desirable outcomes.

I enjoyed the Witcher a great deal. But Dragon Age is a superior game. I thought the combat in the Witcher was a bit too limited. And not having a party to work with lessened the longevity. A great game though, with a very cool story and some great violence and adult themes.

And man, Dragon age is hell of a lot easier with two wizards in your party.

Probably more enjoyable that way. It got too easy with your main character as a wizard and Morrigan. I'm looking forward to being a Rouge the next go-around.
