A friend of mine needs a place to stay for a month in July... doesn't need to be your place, every hint to something that's alright to stay at and not overly expensive is appreciated.

Isn't there a way to rent a room on campus?

Some universities do this, but for the most part, it's only universities in cities that will rent rooms to non-students. I know UI-Chicago does. Bloomington, on the other hand, might not have a similar policy because they're a small town. Then again, if you're going to Bloomington, Indiana for a month and you're not affiliated with the university I really don't know what the fuck you are doing there.

My guess is that they're visiting the various filming locations of Breaking Away.

I think it's possible in Bloomington IL, too. Same problem though, why go there?

This friend of mine wants to visit his girlfriend who's studying a semester there. Living on the campus for the time of the visit doesn't seem to be an option.

Well, she can live on the campus. He can't. Sorry if I didn't make that clear. My brain is filled with marbles today.

If he's visiting for a month but cannot stay with the girlfriend, he really needs to re-think that relationship.

What i meant was, if she has an apartment he can just live with her for a bit and not tell everyone. That's what i did. Now if it's a dorm, he's kind of fucked.
