Birmingham is a very nice suburb about 15-30 minutes north of downtown, depending on traffic....shouldn't be too bad Sunnday afternoon, although there is a Tigers home game that day in the afternoon. There's a lot of shops and places to eat at, both chains and independent. A favorite of mine in Birmingham is a place called Peabody's..unfortunately, it's not open at al on Sundays, but if you hapen to be there on Saturday or Monday ,I recommend it.
For ice cream, there's a place called Ray's(on Coolidge) about 1/2 the distance between downtown and Birmingham(also going north from downtown).
There's some good places in Royal Oak and I imagine some in Dearborn too.

Did you go to EV?
Where the he'll have you been? I'm all alone on the Tigers thread. Heaven forbid Zeppe take two seconds out of his babysitting duties to chime in on the awful state of the Tigers staff.
