A music blog has published what it claims is the tracklisting for Noel Gallagher's debut solo album. Sourmash Music reports that the as-yet-untitled album will be released on October 3 and preceded by the single "Come On It's Alright" on August 29.
The tracklisting for the album includes two songs - "Stop The Clocks" and "I Want To Live In A Dream In My Record Machine" - that already exist as demos. "Stop The Clocks" was also the name given to Oasis' best of collection.
The reported tracklisting is:
01. The Magic Can't Be Right 02. Stop The Clocks 03. Freaky Teeth 04. Mile High Moon 05. Come On It's Alright 06. God Help Us All 07. Don’t Stop Being Happy 08. Red, White And Blue 09. If I Had A Gun 10. I Want To Live In A Dream In My Record Machine
Meanwhile, Gallagher has reportedly turned down a big money offer to replace Simon Cowell as a judge on The X Factor. The Sun reckons that Noel has batted away a purse of over £1 million to join the panel for the TV talent show. A source apparently said that Gallagher was offered "a head-spinning amount of cash" and was basically told "to name his price." Noel had other ideas though, with the source adding that he could not resist a dig at younger brother Liam in his refusal:
"Noel said he wanted to focus on his solo career and feels he has a duty to stop Beady Eye stinking up the bottom of the charts," they said.

I was thinking about this the other day while archiving Beady Eye away to probably never be listened to again. If those two tracks are on it, that's cool as they had promise but I'd rather not see Stop the Clocks on there... rather see a cleaner break.

Awhile back Liam got all pissed in the press that Noel had swiped old Oasis songs for his solo record. I guess he meant those two songs. I'm excited to hear a full-blown studio recording of Record Machine. That is, if that tracklisting ends up being real.

The demos floating around, much like most oasis tunes, are all Noel. Liam gets pissed in the press at anything. I just want new music but I'd love to hear the tunes done full on as well.

fuck Beady Eye. I refuse to give a single penny to Liam or any thing he does anymore. Little James? please.
cannot wait for Noel to put something out! I hope it's more acoustic based and doesnt just sound like the non-Liam Oasis songs.
Little James isn't totally unlistenable. A simple song like that for his kid is light years beyond anything on the Beady Eye album. I just want something from Noel that I can play more than once and not immediately write off like Different Gear, Still Speeding.
Regardless of what he puts out or when, I'm all for them taking shots at each other in the press.
"Noel said he wanted to focus on his solo career and feels he has a duty to stop Beady Eye stinking up the bottom of the charts." Come on. Even if you hate Oasis, that's funny.

Noel Gallagher has reportedly collaborated with Amorphous Androgynous on his upcoming solo material.
However, online blogger Peter Cornish-Barlow of Sourmash Music has claimed that the ex-Oasis guitarist disagrees with his management over the tracks.
Writing about the recording sessions on Twitter, Cornish-Barlow said: "He left LA to get away from his management because they don't like the work he is doing with Amorphous Androgynous
"No-one, apart from Noel likes the reworked material AA have done! Its causing problems in camp, so I am told. (sic)"
He added: "Also the feeling is that he won't get his way, and he will most likely [release] the album that did the rounds last year!
"The one [Ex-Creation boss Alan] McGee has heard. He has two albums worth of material too apparently."
Amorphous Androgynous are Garry Cobain and Brian Dougans, also known as The Future Sound Of London. The duo produced a 22-minute remix of the final Oasis single 'Falling Down' in 2009.
However, M is for Music reports that Gallagher has also been working in Los Angeles with Jon Graboff, formerly of Ryan Adams & The Cardinals.
Graboff reportedly revealed on his Facebook page: "Heading back to NYC today after an awesome session yesterday with Noel Gallagher in LA."

Former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher's debut solo single will be called "The Death Of You And Me", according to a production company apparently behind the song's video.
In A Place Productions, which is based in Los Angeles, revealed details about the release on Facebook.
Responding to a query from a Facebook user who asked if they had shot the video for the single, the company replied: "Yes sir!!"
In the discussion, which has since been removed, they added the songs title and said it "wouldn't be out until the end of the summer.
Gallagher's spokesperson has yet to comment on the alleged song title.
Also, Noel's brother and another Oasis former member Liam Gallgher has revealed that his new band Beady Eye's album will be ready by next year.

Former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has married his partner Sara MacDonald.
Walking away from Oasis, Noel Gallagher has kept his cards close to his chest. Two shows at the Royal Albert Hall aside, the guitarist has not performed publicly since that fateful day in France.
Rumoured to be working on new material in Los Angeles, Noel Gallagher also appeared (albeit briefly) on the new Miles Kane album. Vowing to spend more time with his family, it seems that the songwriter has made good on this promise.
Engaged to long term partner Sara MacDonald, the happy couple tied the knot at the weekend (via The Guardian). The pair met in Ibiza eleven years ago, and have been together ever since - raising two sons together.
The pair married at a lavish do in New Forest National Park's Lime Wood Hotel. Noel Gallagher hired out the hotel, which reportedly cost him somewhere in the region of £60,000, while guests included Paul Weller and Hacienda DJ turned M People producer Mike Pickering.
There was no shortage of entertainment at the bash, which featured a speech from Noel Gallagher's close friend Russell Brand. The one time Oasis guitarist wore a grey suit and black tie, while Sara MacDonald opted for a vintage dress before changing into Tom Ford sequins.
The relationship stood at the centre of the row between Noel and Liam Gallagher. Explaining his decision to leave Oasis, the guitarist cited the intolerable 'intimidation' against himself and his family.
Liam Gallagher was not present at the ceremony, as Beady Eye are currently on tour in the United States. Recently speaking to The Sunday Times, the frontman reflected on his decision to exclude Noel Gallagher from his own wedding.
"He goes on about how he wasn't invited to my wedding," he said. "No one was at my wedding but (the bride's) mum and my mum. Get over it, mate."
