I know we're not supposed to discuss the private lives of the band members, but two issues about Ed that concern me.

1) Ed hangs out with the likes of Chelios, Tim Robbins, and Sean Penn. Each one of these guys have had serious marriage issues. When Tiger Woods' skeletons came out, a lot of people speculated that his friendships with the likes of Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley steered him in a bad direction.

2) None of his PJ bandmates were at his December wedding. It was mostly celebrities. I'm beginning to think his relationship with the band is mostly professional. No bad blood, but they just go their separate ways after tours.

Your thoughts?

I'm sure I'm going to get ripped for this post.

This is driving my post:

"This is in regards to the June 29, 2011 Ed show. Email from a friend:

"So we went to Stanleys. I think that’s what it was called. In Lincoln Park.

20 minutes after we got there, 4 cops come rolling in. They clear a path (aggressively) and shortly behind them was the man himself!

We were less than 2 feet away - we said hello and so did he (hes very short).

They scurried him downstairs and he had a private party down there.

Then at 2 the bar said it was closing. They kicked us all out. Rather forcefully too. It was really lame at that point. I was pissed. The bouncers were dicks. As soon as the bar clears out we look in the window and see eddie come upstairs with chelios and dempster. They had their own party going for a while. Dempster came out, he autographed my poster.

Ed never came out. We watched him the entire time through the window. He was dancing around and smoking in the bar.

He never came out. I was upset. We were literally out in the cold.

Im not sure how I feel about everything. Ok I think. Was a little let down that he wasn’t friendlier to the fans (me).

Great show though. We got home at 4. I feel terrible""

How do I know who was at the wedding?

The wedding was in September, my bad.

Go to any of the gossip sites, and they list names. 70 people in total. None of the many reports say "in attendance were (some of ) his PJ bandmates", etc.. The names that the various reports bring up are Sean Penn, Jack Johnston, Gabriel Reese and Laird Hamilton.

Around the time he got married, a lot of the mainstream news outlets mentioned it (cnn.com, msnbc.com, etc.). That's how I found about it. If you want to read about it now, I'm guessing only gossip sites have it now.

If Matt Cameron would have been on drums at the wedding, EV would have nothing to worry about.
