When you breathe does your belly expand or do you keep your belly 'tucked in' while your ribcage expands?

When I breathe, I draw in a mouthful of water at regular intervals. Then I draw the sides of my throat together, forcing the water through the gill openings, so that it passes over the gills to the outside.

Me too, Mayor. I've been trying to make a more conscious effort to breathe more deeply. Seeing all the oxygen tanks on people here in Colorado freaks me the fuck out.
