For those who like to shoot hoops, try this out. Honor System rules apply (don't lie, a-holes).

I just completed a 3-point shooting contest with a friend of mine that lasted about 2 months. Over the course of five 200-shot (each) sessions, the bet was who could make the most out of 1000 shots with $200 on the line. Each session consisted of 50-shot rounds (10 shots each from both baselines, both wings, and the top). Rotating after each 50-shot round...high school 3 pt line...no clock.

I shot 69.1% (691/1000) and LOST. That is no joke. He made 75.6% (756/1000). Unreal. I thought 65% would have been more than enough to win running away.

Shoot your 1000 shots and get back to me. I doubt anyone here can touch 69.1% and if you claim to, well, only you will truly know that you are lying and you'll have to live with that.

I just did this and scored 70.2%

this challenge has been around for awhile. i hit around 73% a few years ago.
