Are you not intersted in the opinions of the users of the message board you moderate? Multiple people here have ideas and suggestion for how this board can be improved but you choose not to listen because you seemingly can't handle the idea of being criticised yet you expect (accept) people to contribute to the running costs of the board. Why lock a thread that involves a conversation about moderating decisions?

All threads must be consolidated into that one broad 'talk about your day' thread.

You could've edited the thread title as NSFW. You could've deleted the picture. You could've edited the post and made it a link only. You could've moved the thread immediately. You could've implemented a ban straight away. You did none of those things. You locked the thread and let it stand as it was for hours.

Then you finally deleted it and banned someone for their post. Weak and ineffectual.

Did you ban the people who intentionally quoted the post as well?

I think she raises a valid point though. Why can't there be a discussion? Is user input welcome only if it's in PM form? Why can't there be a discussion about it?

That thread ended with a post that gave clarification. Nothing left to say about the matter.

i'm actually sorta with you beef. but our moderaters would probably be more committed if we weren't paying them in cigarettes and crack cocaine.

So you decide when the discussion is over and everyone is satisfied with no further questions or comments. Bull fucking shit.

No. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

It wasn't deleted. As I said in the other thread, I locked the thread because it was a spinoff. Someone made mention of a cocksucking picture, so I looked at it and saw that it showed what shouldn't be shown.

No.

It's never okay to discuss the workings of the board unless you do it behind the scenes with mods that you feel you can actually converse with. Which isn't many.

No.

So where is the user warning? Why ban someone hours after the fact? If you can't be bothered moderating effectively, why fucking moderate at all?

maybe if people didnt attack said mods everytime a grain of sand got twisted in the clit theyd be more agreeable to discussion?
