I don't know about any of you, but Wash is one of my all time fave Pearl Jam songs. I remember downloading a while before i heard it live...and burnt it on a cd and loved it instantly. Then maybe a year later i go to my First ever PJ concert and it was played first ( PNC art center 7-14-2003 ) I'll never forget that date...and as for the song... Knew every word.

I love the early shows when they openned with this about half the time. Very cool to hear it again as an opener at Holmdel. It really kicks off a show just right if the rest of teh show is going to be a "rock yer balls off" kinda show.

It is my favorite song off of Lost Dogs. It has been owning me for about the last month or so.
I would really like to hear Wash live someday.

oh please, let it rain today
this city is so filthy, like my mind in ways oh there was the time, like a clean, new taste smiling eyes before me, inches from my face wash my love
wash my love
wash my love, yeah...
sin the sale, buying just a need
just who planted all the devils seeds
and what's the truth, and the truth that lies at home
it's on the inside, and i can't get it off, yeah...
wash my love
wash my love
wash my love, yeah...
what's clean is pure, but hey, i'm white on the outside, though i stray
what she don't know today, might kill us both tomorrow, bring it back some way
bring it back, bring it back, back to...to the clean form, to the pure form
wash my love
wash my love
wash my love
ooh...

I've always loved, loved!!! this song since the first time I heard it! it's one of the best songs this planet has ever seen.
There is something uncharacteristically sexy about this song also. PJ doesn't usually go "there."
Go download the fast version. I believe it was only played once. I think it might be on 5H. The recording quality is crap, but the song is even better with more energy.

Its also on TSIS (http://www.theskyiscrape.com) and its 31/12/92 I think....im undecided on whether the fast version or slow is my fav but they both bloody rock. The Marky Mark/Madonna quote makes me crack up!
