I still listen to CDs, team. My only other option is shitty laptop speakers.

Greenday, 'Dookie'.

How about headphones? Or, can't you hook up your laptop to a stereo? There's probably some device to do it wireless too.

Headphones I can get, but I kind of get bored of listening to music on my own; I used to enjoy the communal aspect. Putting CDs in a real actual stereo, in a real actual room, with real actual friends. The music-listening experience has become pretty lonely in this, our 21st century. I could hook my laptop up to a stereo, if we had a stereo in the front room, which we don't. I do have an iPod dock but it's in the kitchen, and my iPod has hardly got anything on it. In short, I kind of hate this century.

I think the only redeeming thing about this century is precisely the fact that it's possible for me to avoid hearing other people's music. Seriously though, put a stereo in your front room.

I know, I will. I suppose you're right, since I don't really want to hear this century's music in public. This new phenomenon of kids playing music, publically, from their mobile phones, on buses. Do you get that over there?

oh god I hate those little bastards and that shit they listen to. not long before some of their bands are producing and mastering the music to sound best on those phone speakers. much like certain European pop acts designing songs that work as ringtones. adds to sales therefore more revenue.
