But really, if it is better than the actual cut, none of you guys will ever admit it. I really don't understand why you guys have such a jizz-fest over that song. Is it the lyric? 'Cause surely it can't be the music.

It would be sick to hear something from the new album, or Of The Earth, and then a staple. At least we know that the mix will be much better than it was for Conan's debut episode.

they're not there promoting the soundtrack, that's gonna sell more or less the same numbers either way. if anything it's promoting the film, so I'm betting it's a new song with a staple. or something from backspacer.

I can't imagine they'll do something off Backspacer, they already did two TV performances to promote that and I'm sure they're more excited for the new stuff.

It's surely soundtrack/film promotion/chance of a new song.

Do bands usually only play one song per night on Fallon?
