No More but not as good.

I'm just cranky today, it's probably not so terrible.

It's not unlike No More.

I liked it more than No More. It shares some chord changes with "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away".

But it still sounds like an attempt at a Bruce Springsteen song.

for every 100 years
there are 50 years of darkness
in the last 25
we had our share of shopping (?)

all the suckkkssesses they sell sunshine only on the top of the clocks (?)
all the 'pressive days feeling lonely and aroused (?)

couldn't have told me, oh, back then
that it would someday be allowed
to be so in love with life
as deeply as we are now

never thought we would
never thought we could
i'm glad we made it
i'm so glad we made it
i'm so glad we made it
'til when it all got good

never thought we would
never thought we could
i'm so glad we made it
oh i'm so glad we made it
so glad we made it
'til when it all got good

all the successive days where the sun shined only on the top of the ploughs.
all the oppressive days feeling lonely in a crowd

Just a step above No More. I really hate these type of songs. It's like a rambling 13 year old wrote it.
