....this may be intriguing to some....it'd be interesting to see the change in Canadian/US relations if Harper and the Torries ever make it into power.....by interesting, i of course mean terrifying....

I would rather have the corrupt Liberals remain in power than have the Conservatives take over.
That being said, I'll still be voting NDP.

The Conservatives and Liberals both need to be killed.

I voted NDP last election but I'm considering going Marxist-Leninist...

I've already had calls from the NDP looking for donations because they figure the government will be dissolving very soon. But there better not be another spring election, I'm still recovering from last year.

Anyway, I'm not sure there is enough outrage outside of Quebec for the Conservatives to carry an election on this issue alone, right now at least. But if they did manage to pull it off, we'll have another shaky minority gov't and we'd be facing another election in six months time. Yay.

Unfortunately for all of the NDP supporters, the Conservatives have experienced a significant spike in the polls...

A vote of "no confidence" by the Bloc and Conservatives may be more risky than beneficial because it will annoy many voters who will be asked to go to the polls in more or less than a year...

I agree. If there is an election, and the tories managed to get in, it would probably be a minority government that wouldn't last a year. Then people would reeeeaallly be pissed off.

Everyone should wait until the inquiry is complete before doing something rash like dissolving parliament. Even though the Liberals suck, a lot of this is knee-jerk reactions that could die down over the coming weeks. However if there is to be an election, despite how much it will SUCK because of the wasted legislation and the weariness of campaigns...I'm starting to feel a bit geared up for it. lol. And if the writ is dropped, we, the Image, will do even better this year. :)

Oh wow, really?

On E-day, I was half-dead. Finished. If that wasn't the last day, I'd have needed a couple days off. Good times though. What an eye-opening experience.
