Seeing the mass tv/radio/newspaper/internet attention this gets..feels awkward. I was obsessed in high school. Then after United 93 it became borderline disgusting for me. My brother was watching people tell their horror stories on tv last night and I put on my headphones and came on here. It's not shying away from reality, it's just being, as you said, sick of it all.

hmm, i don't think jaded is quite right - but my boyfriend did say something that seems fairly accurate - he said that this country loves to 'celebrate' tragedy... that's a good summation to me.
