I could probably furnish my apartment to look like that if I really tried. The moulding/flooring in my little pad looks a lot like what's on the album cover and there are some great antique stores near me down Westheimer.
Anybody heard those vinyl singles he did earlier in the year as well? I've never been able to track any of them down or get many opinions on them.

I don't want to get into a whole thing with you on this, BadMusic, but I checked out those links and you're listing artists who release long form electronic instrumentals on CDR.

I know you'd say that, but it's still music. And these two are some of the most talented and respected artists in their field, not just random guys. There's also this metal band with 80+ full-lengths released since 2004.
Just pointing out that there's way more prolific artists out there, nothing more.

Ryan Adams isn't full-time metal...it was a one-off.

Yeah, I've been picking them up all year. Except for maybe one that came with a book. Anyway, they're great and I think it's some the best material he's released in quite some time. The artwork and packaging is pretty nice too, he's really made the most of the format. It suites him well.

He had a few passages on 'Wonder Show of the World' that were just gut-wrenchingly awesome--"Teach Me to Bear You" specifically. Cool that he's becoming what appears to be a permanent fixture.

There is No God is an awesome song. Just ordered the new album and I get to see him in Northern VA on 10/2. Drag City site says that the LP ships tomorrow, with a release date of 10/4. Hopefully the former is the correct date.
