He has an accent. Everyone has an accent. Saying someone has "no accent" supposes that there is some default way to articulate a language when there really isn't.
He speaks with the Standard American accent, which is the most peculiar of American accents in that it was constructed outside of any geographical constraints. It's the accent invented by radio and television announcers to sound as generic as possible.
