I liked it too, one of the more underappreciated films from the 90s. I know it was a critical success but it seems to be largely forgotten about. Yeah, I also thought Rob Morrow was destined for bigger things.

My love for this movie can't be expressed highly enough. Easily the best underrated movie of the 90's. Best Picture worthy, it just happened to come out in the most heated Oscar race in fucking years. this, Forrest Gump, Shawshank, and Pulp Fiction all at the same time. are you kidding me??

Well, most underrated other than LA Confidential. It really is a very well done movie, and it is purely performance based, as the story itself isn't really that compelling.

There was a video made back in the day, I wanna say it was on the original Conan show when it came out, it took the first meeting between Ralph Fiennes, Hank Azaria and David Paymer and all of the small pauses with them talking to each other, and re-edited it basically making the pauses like 10 times greater, so it's just each guy weirdly looking back and forth at each other. Pretty funny.

I wonder which movie would win if the surviving AMPAS members revoted today? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be Forrest Gump.
