Do you know the name of every soldier that died in the revolutionary war? For every general there are thousands of soldiers.

I don't, but i'd venture to guess that if family members were tracing their genealogy, a record could be found for each and every one of them. These posts are gone forever. That's a bit of an apples and oranges comparison though, ydnar.

And the locked threads from 2004 or so, were among the most classic posts for GD- we can't move them by adding a new comment so those will eventually all filter down to page 999 and poof... goodbye happier days of GD, we miss you...
