I am trying to get a list of the first and last shows of every drummer. For instance, I know Matt Cameron joined sometime in 1998, but did he do all the shows in 1998? Or is Jack doing some of those? When was Jack's first show? When was Dave A's first and last? Krusen.....
Dave A. played his last show with the band April 1994 in New York.
The first Jack show is open to debate. It is probably technically the October 1994 Bridge School shows when he played some percussion. Others might say it was the Self Pollution Radio broadcast where he actually plays drums, although that was a studio performance. His first real full length live set was at Constitution Hall in Washington D.C., January 14, 1995. Jack's very last show was the final night in Perth, Australia in March 1998. Which segues into Matt's first appearance when the Yield tour resumed in May 1998. First public performance with Matt was Letterman but first public concert was the warm up gig in Seattle.
Ha! Those time periods were really my primary era of fandom with the band. I was at Jack's first show in DC so I remember that stuff well and I also know the Yield tour very well. I was at Tibetan Freedom which was like the 2nd or 3rd performance with Matt and I knew Jack left after Australia. But I admit I did cheat to double check when the letterman and Seattle shows were!

Cool. Thanks alot! Is that first off-ramp show Dave A? Or did he come in a little later. Also, my very first show was San Diego Nov 7, 1995. Doesn't seem right to me that Jack played that show, but I guess he did.

05/25/91 - RKCNDY: Seattle, WA notes: Dave Krusen's last show with PJ. Filming for Singles is complete and PJ plays at this "wrap party" with many cast members in attendance.
07/04/91 - RKCNDY: Seattle, WA set: Wash, Once, Even Flow, Garden, Breath, Alive, Porch, Jeremy notes: This show marks the band's return from remixing in London and the first of Matt Chamberlain's few shows drumming with PJ. 'Breath' is introduced as "Breath and Scream."
08/23/91 - Mural Amphitheater: Seattle, WA [50m] attendance: 4,000 notes: This free, outdoor show was also Dave Abbruzzese's first concert drumming with PJ.
Cougar9000, I think you would enjoy the PJ20 book. It has a lot of the drummer info you are looking for and pretty much all the drummer info you could think of wanting to know.

Thanks. I got the book, haven't had a chance to get thru that much of it - but good to know that that info is in there.

Who did you think was on drums?
That was my very first show. I didn't even like Pearl Jam before then, my friend just had an extra ticket so I went. But I came out of the show a believer. So I didn't know any of the band except Eddie Vedder of course. The boot is kinda crappy for that show, so I never listen to it, and never really think about the show that much at all - I guess I figured it was Chamberlain. That was part of my reason for asking, I just assumed I've never seen Jack Irons with PJ, but I have. Never saw Dave A or K, or Chamberlain though.
