I listened to the first couple songs on that stream. Its really weird to hear him croon like that, but I can totally see a younger generation of hipsters buying it.

Weiland has always been a great, versatile singer, and the "And So It Goes"/"Atlanta"-style smoothness has always been my favorite component of his vocal range. I'm far more interested in hearing him tackle this kind of material than I am in hearing STP rehash grunge for a third or fourth time.

I don't mind him singing rock n' roll songs, but his ballads over the years with STP, Velvet Revolver, and in his solo work have been really fun to listen to.
