For example, the number under my avatar is right now 4966. But if you click on my profile and then on Search user's posts, the count there is 4971, five more posts. For our most prolific poster, chud, the discrepancy is even more pronounced: 80438 under the avatar and 80527 in Search user's posts, a difference of 89 posts. Everyone who has been here for a while has some sort of discrepancy between the two numbers. Why the discrepancy? Does the second number take into account posts made in threads that have since been moved to the mod forum? Could we then re-construct those beloved but lost threads?
right now i have 1894 but am only missing 1 post. so basically i only lose 1 post per 1894 posts. argo loses 1 post per 995, spike 1 per 573 and chud 1 per 903. i think these numbers conclude that my posts are more important. lock er up.

those missing posts attributable to the "what's on kosmicjelli's homeless sign" thread stick in my craw to this very day
well, if the mod forum theory is correct, you should be able to find those posts on your "search user's posts" page, which is arranged by date. I'm not convinced that that theory is correct, though.
I'd noticed this, but never looked at the difference in my own. It's only 32.
lenny, do you find this cat humor to be a+
D-
It would have been funnier without the dialogue, but since it's apparently an advertisement for free flexor I suppose it needed to include something. Either way, still not very funny.
