I will be supping at a quaint little Italian restaurant with my brother and sister tonight called D'Amico's Italian Market Café. As I have never had Italian food before, what do you guys suggest that I order?

We ended up going to a place a block over called Gugliani's, but we absolutely should have just stuck with the classic D'Amico's. My sister, who is a vegetarian and didn't have anything to look forward to but fresh basil, was informed as her plate came out that the chef was out of basil for her margheretta pizza. My stuffed tortellina pasta was way too creamy and the prosciutto was overcooked, and none of our waters were filled up more than once, even though the restaurant was small and empty. Oh, it wasn't totally empty. Shortly after we were seated, a table of fourteen* was seated next to us.
*twelve noisy 8-9 year old girls and two parents, mind you.

All that being said, it was actually a very enjoyable meal. I don't get to sit down with just my brother and sister like that enough, even though we all live in the same city. Nothing was ruined, and memories were made.
