Paul McCartney has announced that he’ll be releasing an album called My Valentine on February 7th (via Consequence of Sound). According to Sir Paul, this album will have a vintage sound recalling the days of “1920-1940.”
He adds, “These are songs I heard. My family, my uncles, everybody sang. And there will be pieces I wrote, but in this style.” McCartney even offers tips on how to listen to the album by suggesting that “This is an album you listen to at home after work, with a glass of wine or a cup of tea.” Thanks, Macca!
