Sirius/XM subscribers should tune in today at 5PM Eastern Standard Time for what they're calling the Cameron Crowe Takeover.

Crowe will be on to talk about and play music that inspired him to make the documentary, Pearl Jam 20.

Included in the broadcast will be a never before heard demo from 1991, titled Chinese.

The show is scheduled to run for two hours.

Also, since it's not commercially available a rip of this song should be able to be freely distributed on the forum.

I'd say until they start selling this song, you can share an mp3 of a radio rip.

That's fine. I was just assuming the rip wouldn't be good enough to bother with FLAC.

It's in the background of "Stone's Driving Tour of Seattle" bonus feature for PJ20. Does that count?

It makes it even more important to keep it FLAC in this case. The satellite stream is already compressed and lossy, so saving it as mp3 is just making it worse.

I'm pretty sure the song playing was called "Chinese" in the credits. It sounded pretty cool.

Well pearljam.com hasn't made an announcement. So no, we're not sure.
