I do not think Tim Tebow will ever be an above average NFL QB. But I am okay with all the coverage he got in the midst of the Winning streak over Newton. Newton did some amazing things this year, and likely will have a very good career.. but Tebow ultimately was winning football games where Newton was not.
The other day on the radio, they were arguing Stafford Vs. Newton, who would you rather have. The radio host said Newton can beat you with his Feet, and he can beat you throwing the ball. The problem? He didnt BEAT anybody.
Meh, it's quite the team sport. Put Newton under center in Denver...
It's good that there's a OROTY and a DROTY. Newton has the former locked up, with slight pressure from Dalton. Aldon Smith and Miller are a toss up, imo.

I agree.. just saying that I can accept the Tebow hype because he was winning football games. Doesn't mean I think Tebow is half the player Newton is.

EXACTLY.... you can't even compare. Tebow.... is a PERSONALITY.... and the dust will settle and he will continue being a mediocre average QB..... greatness is elsewhere. This guy was all hype.... some of which was deserved but is NOT sustainable throughout a career

Screw it, I should start a Demaryius Thomas thread while we're at it.
no, i think this and the official broncos hang-out is enough.
i was going to start a Boston/Denver shit-talk thread, but figured it'd get locked/deleted.
We had that dilemma when they played in the regular season as to where the discussion should go. Maybe here, since it's people inevitably get stuck on Tebow Time? :shrugs:

okay.
i'm pretty sure y'all are going to beat this awful pats D all day.
running, passing, and however else you matriculate the ball from yard to yard.
the real debate will be in the Pats O can keep pace w/ this multidimensional offense denver now possesses.

I still don't think the Broncos can hang with a team that can score a lot of points. The Pats can score a lot of points. Maybe it won't be as one-sided this time, but I still am pessimistic about this next game. I wish they were playing the Ravens next, that's a team that they could do the same thing they did against the Steelers today.

True that--I covered my face every time they ran an option pitch in this game, fearing that Harrison or Woodley would break it up and force a fumble.

People are forgetting the mistakes Denver made the last time they played the Pats. They got off to a good start that game and then started shooting themselves in the foot.
