Well. EH Ruddock is now Rebar for some reason. knee tunes is a perplexing yet oddly alluring newcomer with a penchant for esoteric restaurant menus. Owl Farmer left RM for good by bumping a Frank thread, cutting his countdown short. ScottZeagle killed a shark. malice posts again sometimes. lennytheweedwhacker took care of the extra door situation. Beef & Kam disappeared from the board, likely fed up with our little-boy adolescent antics. Skitch is still racist, antagonized Samwise. Dev may or may not be gay, but is almost certainly retarded. Spike is still unemployed, looks like Eddie Vedder. chud is in love with his best friend's wife, drove into a house. Patrick Bateman yelled at everybody. dimejinky99 has a new dog. Somebody named KingHardball keeps calling me an Argentine. dkfan9 loves Sevendust. tree_ made a bunch of threads. Bune is depressed. thodoks hasn't been the same since the accident. I think that about covers it.

Loads. That LA and, to a lesser degree, Seattle are as AWESOME as I'd hoped they be.

That there's some good bands doing the rounds playing good shows, even if I wouldn't listen to them at home, I definitely go and see them live (step forward Jape (from Dublin), The Airborn Toxic Event (from LA) and the mighty fucking Battles (from NY).

i mean, im sure im still in the honeymoon phase, but so far 9+ months and i havent once dreaded coming to work. with the two past holiday weekends having fri and mon off, it literally felt like a week both times.

last job if i had a 3 day weekend it seemed an hour into it i was already dreading going back in

9 months isn't bad for still feeling positive about a new job, actually. These days nothing is considered permanent- it's like a career at one company is literally unheard of now. Most people only stay in a company for a few years anymore- and I'm pretty sure that's how many of these companies like it. If you can continue feeling good about your job, I say more power to you- it's a rare experience far as I can tell.

The woot at the end there was a nice touch.

Not sure what I learned in 2011. It was more or less a year's worth of putting into practice the things I needed to in order to keep my feelings from becoming too hurt by shitty people.

i forgot to tell peeps how great i thought his 3 o'clock high reference was.

i forgot to tell strat he is too emotional for a guy.

i learned lenny will probably not have sex in 2012 and will perfectly fine with it, as will most alabamian women.

i learned i am the only human here who has never used twitter, facebook or myspace and only post on this board.

i learned that being sad is a valid and supported excuse to not have to try hard in life.

i learned that lenny probably wheres to much flare in his apparel. a tide hat is ok but we don't need to see and SEC championship sweathsirt and sweats emblazzoned with 'hoyas' down the side.

i learned my spelling offends and punctuation bothers people

Trust nobody outside of the contiguous 48, especially Canada.
