Time for Jerry Angelo to go.
kind of disagree on the OC since they were only halfway down that road. It's about time he realized that TE's can catch the ball but other than that I've got no problem really with Martz.
So Norv Turner, AJ Smith won't be in this thread at the moment. Chargers fans must be livid.

What would really be funny is if Spanos repeated the same mistake he did when he fired Martyball: he was going to keep him, but changed his mind after all the good coaches were gone and his coordinators got poached, and got stuck with hiring Norv.
Team president Ted Phillips said Tuesday that Martz's dismissal was coach Lovie Smith's decision.
"He decided today. That was Lovie's decision," Phillips said. "He's always had the decision making authority on his coaching staff and that's going to stay the same way."
He added: "Lovie met with Mike, they had some philosophical differences and a parting of the ways. That's the way to put it."
Sure sounds like a "resign or we're firing you anyway" scenario.

Words cannot describe how pissed off I am with Spanos right now. Unbelievable.
Do you have some sort of secondary following toward the Chargers? I know you pick for them all the time in our mock drafts.
I do. My aunt lives in La Jolla, and every year for Christmas she would get me a jersey. I still have Dan Fouts, Kellen Winslow, Wes Chandler, James Brooks, Chuck Muncy . . . Christ, she even bought me a Ralph Benirschke jersey. They've always been my second-favorite team.

That is one of the all time drive through look at the ocean and feel happy towns in America. Love La Jolla, must be awesome to visit Grandma there.

I have to admit, there have been times when I've been out there either alone or with the family and have been tempted to never return to Chicago (or the midwest) again.
