I figured phrasing it this way rather than "St. Vincent covers Black" would fare better for this not getting booted to OB.

Saw her name drop PJ in an interview last month, but still pretty surprised to see her cover this. She has a great touring band, it's a shame she didn't have any backing for this one.

She could do a great cover of Oceans.

it reminds me of a better produced snl.

and that's not a compliment.

also, i think GD needs a thread about "woohing after you recognize which songs is being played" that video is a perfect example.

It's mostly lame and unfunny.

people trip all over themselves when they see a chance to "grade" comedy. ah, the sweet, life-giving power of being able to speak supposed truth to conventional wisdom by saying, 'that's not funny.'

stick to your dayjobs rm'ers, aka shitting on the pearl jam.

She could do a great cover of Oceans.

i admire her for trying but she doesn't have a big enough voice to do ten-era eddie with a straight-ahead cover. could sound cool if she were to alter the style of the song more.

she'd rock the shit out of oceans with a guitar instrumental, using it for sustain.

Oh man I remember that game! But I couldn't remember the name of it, so I had to google "that game with the pigs like dice". But it worked! It's Pass The Pigs!
