Love the cast. Seems like it might be a fun concept. Didn't read the book, probably won't.

Do you suppose Benjamin Walker will play all the presidents before or after Kenneth Branagh makes all the Shakespeare plays into movies?

I suppose so, I mean the writer litterally followed lincolns life in very intricate detail, even if there was some made up stuff. so it is what it is.

I didn't mind the detail I just enjoyed it more when it was focusing on Abe
Spoiler: show
taking down vampires but once it turned into the vampires were the cause of the civil war and different vampire factions were fighting for the North and South it lost me. It just became too big.

actually you make a good point. I like that last part, but it certainly doesn't need any heavy focus in the story.

Way to cash in on the Abe Lincoln and Vampire popularity, Hollywood, but damn if it don't look badass! Look at that axe swing! Awesome!

Eh they ruined it by giving Abe super kung fu abilities. It would have been way more interesting if he was just a normal guy who had to defeat super natural creatures.

I want to say... seeing this tonight? But that seems too easy.

Is this a trick question?
